Eva is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Personal Trainer and Women’s Fitness Specialist. Her background includes serving as a P.E. teacher at ARISE Christian Academy, owning and operating a women’s fitness studio, and coaching youth sports for girls. Eva has a deep passion for coaching and teaching children life skills that help them grow into the unique individuals God created them to be. She considers it a blessing and privilege to invest in the next generation. Eva especially enjoys helping students develop healthy habits early in life, giving them the tools to thrive—not just as kids, but as they grow into adulthood.

Daisy attended Pensacola Christian College for a Bachelors in Elementary Education and has a Masters of Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. She grew up serving in children’s ministry in various forms of camp counselor and program director, Sunday school, and lead a Bible club during college. Her favorite thing to highlight is the fact that the Bible guides us through every step of life even the academics. During her breaks she enjoys the opportunity to see all the families and students when she works in the office during teacher breaks.

Mackenzey earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University, where she developed a strong foundation in child development and inclusive teaching practices. She is a dedicated fifth-year kindergarten teacher entering her second year of teaching at Faith Community Academy. Mackenzey enjoys the close-knit community that FCC has cultivated and looks forward to working together with her students’ families. Passionate about nurturing both the hearts and minds of young learners, she is especially devoted to teaching children about the love of Jesus, weaving faith and compassion into everything she does in the classroom.

Maja graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Southwestern College (now Arizona Christian University). She has taught 2nd grade for over 22 years and has developed a wonderful course of study for her students. Her desire is that all students develop in academics and in their relationship with Jesus. She strives to teach a solid Biblical Worldview in which they apply this worldview in everything they do in life.

LeAnn earned both her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Master’s in Reading and Pedagogy from Eastern New Mexico University. LeAnn has over 17 years of teaching experience, including 14 years in public education, with classroom roles spanning K4 through 5th grade. LeAnn is also a former Children’s Ministry Director of 8 years where she developed curriculum, led outreach, and coordinated volunteers. She is currently the Women’s Ministry Director at Faith Community Church.

LeAnn Brock is passionate about both education and ministry, believing that every child deserves the opportunity to grow academically and spiritually. Helping students discover their strengths and walk confidently in who God created them to be is one of her greatest joys as an educator. She is skilled in differentiated instruction, classroom management, discipleship, event planning, and community engagement. LeAnn uses these gifts to create environments where children feel seen, supported, and inspired. She looks forward to continuing her mission of helping children thrive in their learning and in their walk with Christ.

Kathie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and is a talented artist. Kathie was the art teacher at FCA for many years before becoming a teacher. This will be her second year as the 5th grade teacher. Work experience before that was varied! She worked at Pima County Adult Probation at the LEARN Lab which is a school for probationers court ordered to get their GED. Before moving in Tucson, Kathie was the Youth Programs Director at Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM, and a Family Child Care Coordinator at Hickam AFB in Hawaii. Kathie loves working with older elementary students. These students are thinking deeply about things and ask amazing questions! Being able to teach the Bible and center each day around God and His Word is what makes Kathie enjoy each day of teaching. The days are very full and can be extremely busy, but seeing these students learn to walk in their faith and become prepared to face middle school and beyond makes it all worth it.

Cortney worked in retail and banking before becoming a stay-at-home mom to her three kids. After 10 years, she joined the Faith School and has worked in preschool for two years and this will be her second year with Elementary. Cortney loves to see kids learn and grow. It’s an added bonus to help them learn about God while seeing them grown in their education. She also helps run the Youth Group at her church with her husband. Between church and sports, her family stays very active. They enjoy the community that’s been built here at Faith – and to see the lifelong friendships developed since coming to Faith, both as a family and an employee.

Annette graduated from Park University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Her career has included working with Head Start in Early Intervention and teaching in a variety of sports and physical education programs. She is certified in Perceptual Motor Development and has worked at FCA for over 20 years. Annette has always loved education and when she saw how Jesus is integrated in the fabric of a Christian Education, she never turned back!
