We offer three year-old preschool (must be toilet-trained) through fifth grade.
Full day Kindergarten students must be five years old by September 1st of the current school year and pass our entrance testing. We make no exceptions.
We have one class per grade with the exception of our K4 class.
The average class sizes are:
Your preschool student may attend 2 to 5 days per week. You enroll them for the number of days you desire for them to attend and then you choose the specific days of the week. Once you have committed, then your child’s space is reserved for those days only. Each day’s activities are designed to meet the learning and developmental needs of your preschooler.
We strive to remain an affordable option yet be financially responsible to cover costs, pay our wonderful teachers well, and create a fantastic learning environment for your student. For the current tuition rate, go to the admissions page.
All students in Kindergarten – 5th grade are eligible for the ESA through the state of Arizona. Need-based scholarships are available for Kindergarten through 5th grade students only through the Arizona Tax Credit program. Online application is required, and computers are available in the school office if the parent needs internet access. If you may not qualify for need-based funds, then pursue raising your own tax credit donations for your student through the tax credit program. Ask our office for more information. Scholarships and tax credit funds are not available for preschool.

No – but we do encourage church attendance!
By enrolling your child at FCA you are agreeing that we will teach your child according to our Statement of Faith and you are agreeing to support our faculty and staff concerning issues of discipline, faith, and lifestyle. We use the Abeka curriculum for all core subjects. Abeka uses an intense phonics based program for Preschool – 2nd grade with great reading success. It is a well rounded but rigorous curriculum. Transferring families have to be prepared to work hard and support their students in their learning.
Additional resources and programs are used for special subjects such as DeepRoots for Bible. Art, Spanish, Latin, Music, Poetry, grammar and creative writing also use a variety of text resources.
We update and review our curriculum needs on a regular basis to ensure good teaching practice and good student learning.
Call us as you have questions and we will help you complete the process.
Enrollment is open to current students and siblings first.
When enrollment opens to new students it is recommended that interested families get their application complete as soon as possible. The admission team meets to decide who will fill the open spots and be the best fit for the school. Applicants must have a complete file with testing to be considered. Waiting lists do happen.
Elementary enrollment closes after school begins in August and Preschool will close when full or at the end of the first quarter.
